Best Chocolate Mug Cake Vegan + Gluten Free

5 minutes! Gluten Free y Vegan Chocolate Cake for one. Perfect when you need chocolate but you don't want to ruin your healthy eating efforts.

Chocolate 🍫 Cake for 1

It's Gluten-Free so we can avoid inflammation, and Vegan so we don't have to use eggs, since some people believe they can feed pathogens in the body.

I love this mini cake because I often crave chocolate cake and if I bake a whole cake, I will eat it all in two days.....and that's not good. Also, where I live it's hard to find a good chocolate cake that could be worth the calories.

So I thought this was the perfect solution to my problem, it is so delicious I dond't feel guilty when I eat it.

You'll need a mini bowl, a ramekin or a mug that you can put in the microwave.


Ingredients:

-2 tbsp cacao powder

-3 Tbsp oat flour or gluten free baking mix.

- 2-3 Tbsp coconut sugar

- Pinch of salt

- 1/4 tsp baking powder

- 2- 3 tsp apple sauce or coconut oil, or vegan yogurt. If you are trying to lose weight I recommend using apple sauce to lower the fat.

- 3 Tbsp plant-based milk ( I used oat milk)

- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

- a few chocolate 🍫 chunks.

Start by mixing all the dry ingredients first, directly in the mug. Then add the wet ingredients, and mix gently to combine everything.

Let the baking powder do its job for a couple of minutes.

Microwave on high for 1.5 - 2 minutes. Let it cool before eating unless you like it hot.

- Agrega Nutella as "icing" and Done.


Aprox. 300 calories for the whole little cake.
